We are currently seeking a
**Liability**

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Handle the end-to-end claims process, from validation to finalisation within authority levels, ensuring the client is kept informed of progress throughout the duration of the claim.
- Provide timely and effective responses to customer enquiries, provide coverage analysis, negotiate settlements and escalate when required for the accurate processing of claims.
- Set reserves and authorise payment within scope of authority, settling claims for utmost cost effectiveness and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements.
- Identify suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims, notifying supervisor / manager and helping if further action is required.
- Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/ risk assessors, as authorised, to enable appropriate actions to be undertaken.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines, legislation and regulations, court decisions impacting claims functions and policy changes, recommending changes to Allianz policies and procedures as required.

**To be successful in the role you will possess**:

- Demonstrated liability claims management experience.
- A tertiary qualification in law would be highly valued.
- Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with the ability to balance understanding, empathy and compassion with the best commercial outcome for Allianz.
