We are seeking multiple passionate Personal Care Assistants to join our Care Team at the Landings, North Turramurra. We have casual and part-time vacancies across all shifts. Part time employees will receive base rate of $30 per hour + super. Casuals employees will receive a rate of $35.62 per hour + super ( includes casual loading).

**Permanent opportunities available**:
4 days: Wednesday - Saturday (6:30am - 2:30pm)

**Casual shift available opportunities across 7 days**:
AM - 6:30am to 2:30pm

PM - 2:30pm to 10:30pm

PM Short Shift - 5pm to 10:30pm

Night - 10:30pm - 6:30am

**About The Workplace**

A resort style workplace LDK’s _The Landings_ is a stunningly appointed village, set against the backdrop of the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park and includes a walking track, gourmet café, restaurant and bar, luxury lounges, gym, pool, library, art room, billiard room and state-of-the-art care facilities. Free staff parking is available, and we operate a shuttle bus most days to collect staff commuting from the local Hornsby train station.

**The Role**

To provide personal care and/or domestic assistance support services to residents as allocated by the Shift Supervisor and/or Village Care Manager. Your duties include but are not limited to:

- Providing personal care as requested by the resident and in line with the resident’s care plan (where documented)
- Responding to emergency call outs
- Understanding and implementing care plans and assist with delivery of range of activities (social, physical, emotional)
- Provision of manual handling to assist residents with daily tasks

**About you**

Demonstrating experience in a similar role, you will have proven yourself as a Personal Care Assistant who treats residents in a respectful and courteous manner. Further, you will have:

- At least completed placement in a similar role in Australia
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or equivalent)
- Valid First aid / CPR certificates (mandatory)
- Previous experience working in community or aged care would be highly regarded
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to and from our village **(We are located in North Turramurra, Sydney)**
