**Job Description**:
The design team is part of 9Creative, and specialises in the creation of Graphics and Visual Effects for all promotional content for Nine and 9Now. Our large and dedicated team consists of 16 designers, all bringing their unique range of skills, experience and talent. This diversity of talent across all areas of motion design - including visual effects, after effects, 3D - lends itself to extensive collaboration. Individuals are encouraged to nurture and share their unique talents and skills, while constantly growing and learning from others.

The purpose of this role is for the operation of a Autodesk Flame system in order to provide visual effects; chroma-keying, high-end compositing of 3d elements, special effects and colour grading to Video deliverables for 9 creative.
- Add polish & flare to video productions, visual effects, colour grading
- Being innovative and collaborative, working with promo producers / directors
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ad hoc creative projects and briefs
- File management and organization of internal assets
- Ability to work as part of a design team on large projects, including: involvement with briefing DOP, planning with Director, and liaising with 3d designers, shoot supervision of special effects.
- Mentor & train more junior members of the team

What you will bring to the role:

- Extensive experience, ideally at a senior level, in Flame Compositing, within TV Promotions, or Post Production.
- Demonstrated experience working on high-end tv commercials or large scale promo launches.
- The ability to manage project timelines and effectively communicate regularly with key management and production staff
- Technical skills of compositing greenscreen footage and 3d elements to create realistic compositions. As well as coming up with creative solutions to make our work look great
- High level of operational knowledge of Autodesk Flame software, including plug-ins.
- Strong Skills inAnimation, and editing to audio
- Experience working on large projects as part of a creative team
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications such as a Degree in Visual Art / Design or equivalent
