You’re role at St John of God

You will work alongside the Multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical nutrition and dietetic services to clients/patients using evidence based clinical practice skills. Clinical practice must be in accordance to the Dietitians Australia (DA) _Professional Standards and Code of Conduct_ and SJGHC policies and guidelines.

The Position
- Provide direct nutrition and dietetic service to patients/clients and/or carers on an individual or group level for both inpatients and/or outpatients.
- Coordinate the provision of special dietary requirements of patients
- Provide consultation and support to medical, nursing, catering and allied health professionals within the Division, and external agencies, as appropriate.
- Uses nutritional knowledge acts as a consultant to the hospital catering service to inform menu development and compliance with the relevant hospital Nutritional standards.
- Document patients’ medical nutrition therapy in the approved manner.
- Participate in multidisciplinary activities e.g. team meetings, ward rounds, or case conferences, as required.

Successful applicants will hold a tertiary qualification in Dietetics and be eligible for full membership with Dietitians Australia. You will have well-developed organisational & time management skills and able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

- Salary: $68,005 to $99,311 + 11% Superannuation
- Permanent part-time, working 64 hours per fortnight
