We are currently seeking a staff member on a 5 year contract or maximum term contract to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.

**The role: Manager Parks and Public Realm**

Reporting to the Director, Infrastructure and City Services, we are seeking an experienced leader who can collaborate and inspire a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement visionary strategies, and design, deliver and maintain public spaces that provide quality outcomes including excellent visual amenity, functionality and which encourage community use.

To be considered you will have:

- A strategic approach, with a focus on partnerships and collaboration
- Experience developing and implementing policies and strategies to inform priorities and investment
- A track record of designing and delivering high quality public spaces and infrastructure, with a focus on delivering spaces for people
- A values-led approach, with experience developing high performing teams, and the ability to support and inspire both professional and operational staff
- A can-do attitude, with an ability to problem solve and achieve results
- Demonstrated experience achieving outcomes via advocacy
- Local government and/or public sector experience is desirable
