Rosebery Mine is one Tasmania’s largest mines and has been the beating heart of the town for more than 86 years mining zinc, copper and lead concentrates, and gold doré. Rosebery is located on Tasmania's west coast near Strahan and a couple of hours drive from Burnie and Devonport. Come join our high performing Geology team as a **Resource Geologist**

This role will be responsible for providing high level Mineral Resources estimation and geological services to ensure that operating assets deliver maximum value, mineral deposits are accurately interpreted and estimated, technical standards of excellence are met and robust technical due diligence is conducted.

Offered on a residential basis on a 5/2:4/3 Roster this role enables you to discover the pristine west coast and spend every evening with your friends and family in a supportive, inclusive community. For those of you wanting to DIDO there is an option to do so from within Tasmania.

To be successful in this role you will be an astute communicator coupled with excellent understanding of geological and mineralising processes, demonstrable knowledge in geology interpretation and Mineral Resources estimation and geostatistical methods and sound understanding of mining and metallurgical practices and processes, including geometallurgy.

Experience working as a mine geologist in underground and open pit metalliferous mines together with experience in near-mine or regional exploration.
