Kitchen Attendant

We are looking for a motivated **Casual** **Kitchen** **Attendant** to join the PLG team at **Steeples** in **Mornington.** You'll support the team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Steeples is a dining and entertainment complex situated next to the Mornington Racecourse. Featuring modern facilities including a family friendly bistro, a designated kids play area and an alfresco deck; there are dining experiences for all to enjoy. Along with an extensive modern menu with daily specials, Steeples caters to both children and adults alike.

**What will my duties include?**
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and ensure ingredients are organised and ready.
- Provide support to chefs and kitchen staff, contributing to a seamless kitchen operation.
- Monitor supplies in accordance with food volume and menu requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the workstation.

**What we are looking for**:

- Food Handlers Certificate.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation methods.
- Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
