Ashmore Uniting Church (Church of the Good Shepherd) is a Congregation of about 40 active members involved in worship, fellowship and Bible study groups. The church site adjoins a shopping centre where the Congregation runs an Op Shop, and Youth With a Mission uses part of the church site for its Gold Coast base and training centre. School chaplaincy and homeless persons support are part of the Congregation’s current mission.

The Congregation seeks to call a Minister who will be the preacher, pastor, spiritual leader and encourager, guiding Congregational mission re-invigoration and connections with the broader community.

This position would be particularly suitable for a minister with experience in traditional Congregation settings who is open to exploring and guiding new mission initiatives in the local community.
