**ABOUT THE ROLE:
**Summary of the role**:We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Coordinator to join our Mercy Health team.
- Permanent part-time position (0.5 FTE)
- Located at Mercy Hospital for Women and reporting to the Group Manager Community Experience (Quality Safety and Innovation Division)
- You will be responsible for the coordination, supervision and education of volunteers at Mercy Hospital for Women and Early Parenting Centres
- You will support and strengthen the Volunteer Program and ensure a coordinated approach to volunteering
- You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Experience working with and managing volunteers
- Experience in adult education development and delivery
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to health services and in working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the roles of health care professionals
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
