Centrals is a well-established, family owned, dynamic civil construction and mining services contractor that has been proudly delivering civil construction projects throughout WA for over 30 years.

Due to continued growth, Centrals are currently seeking an enthusiastic, professional and committed HSEQ Advisor for site-based work. This role will suit someone with a minimum of two to three years’ experience, who is seeking a rewarding opportunity, ongoing training, and mentoring from a dedicated and committed HSEQ team. This role is FIFO to various projects throughout regional Western Australia. Rosters may vary depending on project needs so flexibility is necessary.

The primary function of this role is to provide HSEQ support to our Civil and Mining Construction projects, ensuring compliance with Company, client and legal HSE requirements. In addition:

- Support Project Managers and Supervisors with day-to-day safety functions
- Develop, review and update project HSEQ Management Plans
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project risk registers, procedures and JHAs
- Assist with incident investigation, reports and actions
- Support internal and external HSEQ audits across the Civils Division and develop plans to action plans to acquit any findings
- Coordinate statistical analysis and reports of HSEQ performance for the project
- Develop and deliver internal HSE training presentations, project specific and work area inductions, toolbox presentations
- Maintain the training matrix for the projects
- Monitor and report on the completion of project/site key performance indicators on a weekly and monthly basis.

**Qualifications**:

- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
- Minimum C class drivers’ licence
- Drug & Alcohol Testing (desirable)
- ICAM or equivalent in Lead incident investigation and reporting ( highly desirable)
- Formal qualifications in auditing ( highly desirable)

Skills & Experience
- Minimum of two - three years’ experience in a similar role in the civil construction or mining industry.
- Experience working with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 - desirable
- Experience in problem solving, interpretation, reasoning, and judgement skills with an ability to identify and solve complex problems
- Ability to challenge, change and improve current systems, procedures and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- High standard of personal presentation
- Proven time management and organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously
- Available for a 2/1 Roster FIFO

**Salary**: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
