Trainer and Assessor

Looking for qualified and experienced trainers to deliver and assess the following qualifications:
Foundation Skills Trainer

Cert I Work Education

Cert II Work Education

Registered Training Organisation (RTO) accredited to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET) by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) committed to supporting the development and growth of individuals, businesses, and communities, running nationally accredited courses and workplace-required training across the mental health and disability industry as well as supporting disadvantaged students.

They are offering permanent ongoing positions with flexibility, ongoing learning, and development. You’ll be joining a supportive and hard-working team.

Training of Certificate I and II will be done face to face and will require the ability to travel to various training locations, while the administrative/ student support can be done from home or if needed at the head office which is based in Carlton.

**Qualifications**:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units: TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502
- Hold a Bachelor of Special and Inclusive Education qualification or higher or a degree in primary or secondary education, specialising in special needs teaching
- Able to map to the qualification being delivering
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Covid-19 vaccination evidence
- High degree of professionalism and judgement with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- High level written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in MS office and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers

**Salary**: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
