As a key member of our team you will represent our friendly and professional service philosophy of ‘Feel Valued’ and ‘Feel Welcome’. We are seeking a highly motivated part time porter.
- To greet all guests as they arrive and depart the Premium Check in Suite/Lounge.
- To use the Guest name at all times (once known).
- Carry guest luggage as required and place on designated baggage belts
- Explain lounge facilities to guests and answer any questions.
- Regular checks of the foyer, cleaning of kerbside (if required).
- To have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and operating hours in the lounge - including applicable flight information.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the lounge facilities.
- Friendly at all times, but brief and informative.
- Report any safety hazards in the area.
- All complaints to be handled promptly and efficiently. Advise the Supervisor / Manager on Duty of issue and outcome.
- Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions provided.
- Liaise with other lounge staff to ensure the highest level of guest service is provided.
- To ensure the Premium Check in Suite is kept presentable at all times.
- Attend to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors.

To be considered for the role you will:

- A friendly, customer focused attitude.
- Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient..
- Previous porter experience.
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
- A high standard of grooming and presentation.
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Have the ability to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in the restricted areas associated with the airport.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $21.76 - $32.99 per hour
