**About this opportunity**:
Supporting the Operations Manager -the Site Supervisor, safely leads and supports the ISO Container Tank Services team in all areas of the depot, whilst ensuring that the depot’s processes are compliant with PACT Group and ITCO best practice procedures.

The hands-on role is responsible for overall supervision and direction of all operational production team members within Tank Services. With the ability to understand and manage the technical component of the role, the Site Supervisor makes up part of the depot’s leadership team. This role is designed for a high energy, committed and motivated self-starter who has the desire to make a difference.

The successful applicant will have strong operational and communication skills with the ability to engage with the Tank Services team and lead them to success. This role is a crucial member of our site leadership team and will play a major part in driving our agenda of operational excellence, process improvement, cost efficiency, quality, and increased throughput productivity.

The responsibilities of the Site Supervisor covers all aspects of ISO Tank maintenance, including: tank cleaning, repairs, modifications, storage, the safe and efficient running of plant and equipment and welfare for all depot operators, as well as managing third party independent certification
- Monday to Friday
- OT when Required
- Permanent opportunity - Progression to Operations Manager
- $45-$53 per hour base rate

**Your skills and experience will include;**:

- Previous knowledge and experience with ITCO Standard, ISO Containers or Tank Services will be viewed very favourably.
- Demonstrable experience leading, coaching and/or developing a team.
- Extensive experience working in a high paced work environment.
- Transferable Mechanical or Industrial Services experience i.e. Basic Welding, High Pressure Jetting or Vacuum Loading,
- Proven people leadership and change management experience with a collaborative and enabling approach,
- Strong ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels,
- Safety mindset in all facets of work,
- Strong computer skills,
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Willing to learn
- Physically Fit as this is a very hands on role

- Forklift Ticket
- ITCO (International Tank Container Organisation) and or IMDG Code (International Maritime Dangerous Goods)
