**About the role**

The Standards Australia Program Manager’s primary duty is to manage a team of Project Managers for the delivery of standards development solutions and services using the agreed project management methodology.

**What you'll do**
- Managing, mentoring and coaching of 6-10 direct reports
- Drive team performance to ensure the effective delivery of projects and publications
- Drive team performance to deliver high level of customer service to all stakeholders
- Lead regular team meetings and monthly KPI and performance discussions with direct reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Model and promote Standards Australia’s Core Values
- Responsible for the assigned portfolio and monitor the delivery of projects from start to completion
- Actively monitor all committee programs of work to agreed deliverables (time frame, risk, scope and quality)
- Participate as an active member of internal governance groups
- Contribute to monthly management reports, as required and within agreed time frames
- Build maintain strong business relationships with internal peers and external stakeholders
- Recommend improvements to the standards development processes and project management methodologies (Constructively challenge conventional thinking)

**About you**
- Degree or equivalent post-secondary qualification in an appropriate discipline
- Strong experience managing a team of 5+ people
- Previous and relevant people and process management skills in a team environment
- Project leadership experience
- Experience with technology as an end-user (e.g. Web conferencing tools, project tools & MS products such as Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM & resource management tools)
