A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Crane Supervisor & Trainer to join the BMS Heavy Cranes Team. We are looking for a passionate and energetic professional to join our team as a Crane Supervisor & Trainer in the delivery of projects associated with our heavy cranes and service operations.

**Your Role**

The Supervisor/Trainer is the BMS HC ambassador on site and has the overall responsibility for executing the project, if no Site Manager are represented.
The responsibilities comprise of; Overall lifting responsibilities, crew management/supervision/training, equipment management, HSE-management and being representative person of BMS HC towards client and partners.
The Supervisor/Trainer has the full responsibility of constantly leading the crew to the best performance and ensuring high moral and team spirit.
The Supervisor/Trainer is solely responsible for training, evaluating and educating employees in various cranes within BMS HC’s fleet. The main focus is especially in new markets where local employees needs to be trained, evaluated and educated so they can perform to the BMS HC standards for safety and quality.
Always highly focused on safety and execution.
The Supervisor/Trainer has the responsibility of focusing on the project scope in order to ensure the project is executed and the deliverables are met within the agreed contract requirements. The Supervisor must, by all means minimize cost for BMS HC. It’s important to record additional work performed for reporting back to PM.

Management in General:

- Supervise/train operation/rigging/de-rigging of crane
- High focus on HSE-Q - correct/instruct where needed
- Convey BMS Heavy Cranes values to new employees
- Be visible, show enthusiasm and set a good example
- Ensure a high level of both internal and external communication-Sub-supplier check of certificates (manpower & equipment) and instruction both internal and external Safety and Quality Standards and Procedures
- Manage and planning of own and subcontracted equipment
Daily:

- Manage, train, coordinate, motivate and support appointed manpower onsite
- Request and review lift drawings for lifting operations
- Coordinate and plan the work with customer, subcontractors andinternal/external resources
- Executing tool-box meeting (plan of the day, info from customer, HSE-Awareness, info from BMS HC Management)
- Ensure site operation execution is in compliance with internal and external Safety and Quality standards and procedures and lead by example in regard to safety awareness and reporting.
- Approve and sign time sheets from own manpower & sub-contractors
- Check up on BMS PPE & lifting equipment prior to use
- Completion of pre-lift checklists
- Ensure high maintenance of BMS equipment (oil level, tidying, cleaning)
- Completion of misc. daily reports
- HIGH focus on cost savings (own manpower & equipment, sub-contractors such as manpower, rental trucks & cranes)
- Constantly evaluate and educate new employees
Weekly:

- Completion of site progress reporting to project manager
- Approve weekly time sheets from crew
- Ensure weekly time sheets are sent to administration
Monthly:

- Completing of travel expenses and other relevant documentations
- Report on training progress of new employees
- Valid Crane License and High Risk License
- Valid Drivers License Car and Truck license
- GWO Training (desirable)
- Valid Wheel Loader and Forklift License
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Salary**: $28.19 - $49.99 per hour

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
