**About our opportunity**

As our ICT Security Coordinator, you will lead Council’s ICT security program and initiatives to ensure our information and systems are secure, available, and compliant to relevant laws and regulations.

You will work with a broad range of stakeholders to promote advance Councils ICT security maturity while also providing technical leadership for our ICT security operations.

Additionally, you will:

- Implement, maintain, and monitor policies and procedures in relation to ICT security
- Manage Council’s suite of security tools and services to ensure effective monitoring and response to security incidents
- Prepare budgets related to ICT security
- Manage the ICT security awareness training program

**About you**

We are seeking someone with extensive experience in the implementation of ICT security frameworks to manage risks, controls, and compliance in a complex technical environment.

In addition to exceptional time management skills, you will have:

- Knowledge and working experience with IT and Security Frameworks such as IS027001, NIST, ASD Essential 8, COBIT 2019, ITIL 4, and the Queensland Government Information security policy (IS18:2018)
- Excellent communication skills to articulate information security matters to internal and external stakeholders

Security management certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC or equivalent would be highly regarded.
