**About the role**:
Reporting to the SA & WA HSEQ Team Leader, the HSEQ Advisors primary function will be to promote, support, and drive the safety culture of Fleetwood. You will be responsible for both our manufacturing facilities & site-based projects. We are seeking a passionate, driven, and well organised individual to step into our wonderful HSEQ team and continue to drive our Zero Harm values within the workplace.

This position is part time, working 3 days per week ideally Weds, Thurs, Fri. The position will be based out of our office and manufacturing facility within High Wycombe.

**The key responsibilities of the role are to**:

- Develop and format high quality documents, presentation material, training material, and internal and external reports for stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and review of OHS strategies, policies and procedures that support Fleetwood’s OHSEQ objectives.
- Ensure effective use of MYOSH and other internal systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and Australian Standards.
- Conduct risk assessments for all relevant Fleetwood operations.
- Develop SWMS, SOP compliance and review chemical risk assessments.
- Assist the HSEQ Manager and Compliance Manager to Implement and maintain the WHSE System Audit Program.
- Conduct worksite inspection and audits on Fleetwood workplaces and construction sites.
- Assess Contractor Safety Plans and actively monitor contractor safety performance.
- Develop, maintain and review the actions raised from Inspections, Risk Assessments, Incident investigations and Audits in MyOSH.
- Participate in incident reports and investigations and make recommendations on corrective action as required.
- Maintain the incident database, analyse data, and discuss outcomes to Fleetwood.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships across all business departments and regions.
- Act as an effective and innovative employee and demonstrate a commitment to quality services and teamwork.

**About You**

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Strong generalist Work Health & Safety experience and the ability to provide advice to the Fleetwood Managers and employees.
- A thorough working knowledge of OHS and industry best practice, and Work Health & Safety Management Systems ISO 45001, Quality Management Systems ISO 9001, Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001
- working knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations (desirable).
- Experienced in the writing/development of risk assessments (including chemical risk assessments), SWMS and SOPs
- Ability to draft and review health & safety documentation, and to monitor/review Fleetwood practices for compliance with both policies/procedures/guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Strong decision-making skills and an ability to make formal recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively, to influence and to implement change.
- Skilled to investigate, research and analyse information to create policy and/or procedures.
- Able to work with minimum supervision to manage and coordinate own timetable, set priorities, and achieve objectives whilst willing to work in a team environment.
- Sound statistical, analytical, and administrative skills.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to innovation in the management of OHS.
- Cert IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
