_Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community._
- Prince of Peace Kindergarten opened its doors in May 2011, and is home to the youngest members of the College. The Kindergarten is situated in our Everton Park Campus, surrounded by natural bush areas._
- Prince of Peace Kindergarten is a single unit centre, licensed for 30 children per day. It operates an extended hours Kindergarten Program, by which children can attend between 6.30am and 6.00pm for two to five days a week. The Kindergarten will operate for 50 weeks of the year._

**The Role**:

- Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed professionals who are enthusiastic, innovative, and dedicated, and who are willing to develop as an educator in a team environment._
- **This is a permanent full-time position as an Assistant Educator**:

- **Commencing ASAP.**:

- **Shifts rotate between 6.30am - 6.00pm**

**Selection Criteria**:
**1. Demonstrated professional skills**
- Ability to develop professional relationships with children.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with staff, colleagues, parents, and members of the community.

**2. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement education and care programs**
- Support in the planning and delivery of early childhood curriculum
- Implement effective and appropriate guidance techniques and strategies.

**3. Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Children’s Services
- Current Blue Card - _Queensland’s Working with Children Check_
- Current First Aid and CPR including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management (HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting)
- Minimum 12 months experience in children’s services preferred, but not essential.
