**Position**:

- Draftsperson / Project Engineer

- 70k-90k AUD per year

**Job Summary**:

- We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Drafter/Project Engineer. This combined role involves preparing and managing shop drawings using CAD, conducting onsite measurements and sketches of stairs and balconies, and ensuring accurate measurements for our drafting team. You will work closely with the operations management team throughout the fabrication, supply, and installation processes. **Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and coordinate project activities from start to finish, including the design of shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Conduct on-site measurements for quoted products using tools like tape measures and digital angle finders, and create hand sketches of stairs, balconies, and voids to detail balustrades and handrails.
- Attend site for setup, interact with clients, supervise installers, and mark up sites for the installation of prefabricated panels/products/materials.
- Facilitate design changes during construction, assemble as-built/constructed plans, and ensure shop drawings match site measurements
- Create drawings using AutoCAD and manage a team of two overseas drafters.

**Skills & Experience required**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Draftsperson, with specialized experience in balustrades, handrails, or facades.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong skills in site measurements, hand sketching drawings, and a solid understanding of NCC/BCA/AS standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with essential experience in the construction industry.
- Must own a car and possess a valid driver's license.

**Location**:

- Bankstown, NSW 2200

**Working hours**:

- 7:00 am - 3:00pm **or** 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Monday-Friday

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
