**Position**

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified teacher to join our specialist team. They should be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices. The successful applicant must:

- be faith filled with a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students
- show exemplary learning and teaching skills with the capacity to engage students in a rich learning environment and a desire to share this knowledge in a professional, collaborative and collegial way with their team
- have a strong knowledge of the Performing Arts curriculum
- have a thorough knowledge of assessment strategies, be adept at analysing these and use this data effectively
- have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents
- have strong behaviour management practices
- enjoy working with a diverse group of students from a range of backgrounds and have knowledge of EAL best practise
- have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
- hold a valid VIT registration
