Arborist

This full-time position (40hrs per week) is responsible for maintaining and caring for trees and shrubs by lopping limbs and shaping branches, treating trees with fertilisers and insecticides, removing dead or decaying trees and advising on general tree care.

**PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- All forms of tree pruning and dismantling.
- Climbing.
- Rigging.
- Driving trucks/vehicles to and from site.
- Truck / vehicle and machinery maintenance.
- Vehicle and machinery safety inspections.
- Using heavy machinery.
- Site safety setups /JSA’s.
- Traffic Management.
- Site Clean-up.
- Use of company technology.
- Use of Pesticides.
- Manual Handling.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Essential criteria**:

- AQF Certificate III Arborist
- White card
- Current police clearance
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test

**Skills**
- Manage maintain and care for trees.
- Identify, inspect, prune and plant trees according to their condition.
- Must have skills of maintaining chemical and mechanical processes.
- Excellent use of chainsaws, hand saws and pruning equipment as well as ropes and climbing equipment.
- Ability to lead the team by mentoring, training and the development.
- Demonstrate safe work practices.

**Experience**

Min 2 years previous experience in similar industry

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
