**About Your Next Opportunity**:
We now have an opportunity for a part-time** Pathology Specimen Collector** to join our Pathology Collection team across the Gold Coast. Your working hours will fall within Monday to Friday, from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, and you will also be included in our weekend rotation.

**Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff.**

Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:

- Treat our patients with care and compassion;
- Receive urine and faeces samples;
- Record patient information;
- Complete online training via our eLearning training system and
- Liaise with referrers and ancillary services in a hospital setting.

During your first twelve months of working with us, you will embark on a comprehensive paid training course. Once you’ve completed your training, you will receive an SNP training certificate.

- Can work effectively by themselves as well as with other team members.
- Has the confidence to work independently.
- Displays efficient time management and problem-solving skills

Moreover, you will have a commitment to service excellence with good interpersonal and liaison skills.

If you do not have a current First Aid Certificate, that’s okay We will assist you in obtaining it.

Although not essential, previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors with a natural knack for caring for others will also be regarded highly.
