**Position Overview**

This position reports to the Head of Wilderness Education and supports the School's Wilderness Education Program. The role includes, but is not limited to:

- Assisting in the preparation, planning, organisation, communication, implementation and evaluation of outdoor activities and programs and classes;
- Purchasing, organising, inspecting, recording and maintaining outdoor equipment;
- Communicating regarding academic and practical performance and behaviour of students to the Head of Wilderness Education;
- Professionally leading/co-leading/instructing and assisting on a range of activities, overnight trips, extended expeditions, practical excursions and year-based camps to achieve identified aims and objectives, whether relating to curriculum, skills or character-formation;

- Remuneration will be based on the Independent Schools Support and Operational Staff Award
- 30 hours per week
- Student Term Time plus Additional Professional Development Days
- Preferred Start Date 24/04/2023
