As a key member of the Underwriting team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing risks associated with insuring residential property owners.

**About The Job**:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze property values, construction details, and occupancy information to assess potential risks.
- Review and interpret underwriting guidelines and policy provisions to make sound underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate with brokers and agents to obtain additional information and clarify policy details.
- Assess loss history, claims data, and other relevant factors to determine appropriate premium rates.
- Identify and recommend risk mitigation strategies to reduce potential losses and protect company interests.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting landlord insurance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving underwriting-related issues.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance underwriting, specifically within property or landlord insurance.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, underwriting guidelines, and risk assessment techniques.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make sound underwriting judgments.
- Proficient in using underwriting software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with brokers, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
