**About The Role**

As the Communications & Content Specialist at G’day Parks, your role is pivotal in crafting and disseminating our brand message to both internal and external stakeholders. You'll be responsible for ensuring consistent and effective communication across various channels, fostering loyalty among our customers and facilitating business-to-business (B2B) communications within the G'day Parks network. You will have a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively convey our brand's personality and values.

Roles and Responsibilities Include:

- Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans that align with the brand objectives and target audiences
- B2B communications; supporting the G’day Parks team in communicating to our licensed park network
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure coverage for G’day Parks
- Write media releases, pitch stories, and coordinate interviews to generate positive publicity and enhance brand visibility
- Support the digital and social media team by contributing to the development of social media content
- Develop and refine brand messaging that resonates with our target audience
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels and touchpoints
- Create content for national and industry conferences, encompassing communications, video production, content creative and event coordination.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other developments to ensure cohesive communication strategies and campaigns
- Other duties may include, website copy, writing presentation notes and speeches

**Your Experience**

You will have tertiary qualifications in Communications, Media, Public Relations or a relevant field. You will have commercial experience within a similar role, displaying effective brand communication and strategic thinking. You will have a genuine interest in writing, with grammar, editing and proofreading being natural strength.

You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and flexibility to be successful in meeting the business demands at G’day Group. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
