Agricultural Technician

As an Agricultural Technician, your everyday responsibilities will include:
- performing various tests and experiments with the land to identify any nutrient deficiencies, including gathering data for research;
- planting the seed, including providing advice and assistance on planting, fertilizing and harvesting processes;
- examining the crops for quality purposes, including identifying any parasites etc;
- using farm machinery to spread fertiliser and chemicals in a timely fashion and correct levels to ensure maximum crop yield;
- planning all aspects relating to the harvesting process.
- Work independently and also as part of a small team
- Communicate effectively
- Be an honest and hard worker
- Maintain and operate farm machinery
- Assist with planting and harvesting of crops
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

- Agriculture: 3 years (required)
