Machinery Salesperson

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is one of the largest suppliers of engineering, automotive, woodworking and workshop equipment, they have been supporting the Australian and New Zealand markets for over 90 years. With over 180 employees and supply branches in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne & Perth, they provide unparalleled services to the general public, business industry and government.

LOCATION: Cooper Plains, QLD

You will be responsible for:

- Inbound Sales calls (No cold calling)
- Telephone and Counter Sales
- Computerized Quoting and Invoicing
- Assist customers in choosing the best product for their needs
- Customer relationship building with ongoing customer service
- Utilizing organizational and problem solving skills
- Trade experience highly desirable

ESSENTIAL:

- Ideally someone with a trade background such as engineering, cabinet making or automotive mechanics. Alternatively, they have a background in industrial sales
- Have excellent time management skills with exceptional communication skills & great attention to detail
- Have good Computer Skills, including MS office (Pronto experience highly regarded)
- Be technically minded with knowledge of industrial machinery

PREFERRED:

- Results-oriented, a highly motivated self-starter and team player
- Have the ability to build & maintain relationships
- Has a strong history of offering outstanding customer service.
- Possess an outgoing and can do attitude along with the ability to work well within a close knit team environment.

REMUNERATION:

- $80,000 - $90,000 + Super + Bonuses
