We have a fantastic 12-month secondment/MTC opportunity available within the Bank Testing team to ensure quality outcomes for Suncorp’s banking systems, testing changes from a user’s perspective. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on testing strategic Bank system changes from a customer facing digital perspective, home lending, everyday banking, business & small business lending perspective.

This is an exciting role where you can utilise your strong Banking, Lending & Business Lending SME to drive quality changes for our customers.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead, design and execute user and business acceptance testing for Banking systems to support Home, Business and Small Business Lending (CBP, Lending Cloud, Hogan), Deposits and customer facing systems (Internet Banking, Suncorp App, Online Origination)
- Working closely with our business stakeholders including Transformation & Technology (T&T) to support the resolution of testing defects and issues located throughout the testing lifecycle
- Play a key role in facilitating business and user acceptance testing phases throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support and be an advocate of the Banking & Wealth (B&W) Technology Testing Framework, including supporting deliverables specific to the role

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Design and implement effective governance processes to design and execute user and acceptance testing for Banking systems.
- Co-ordinating Banking and cross function stakeholders for the management and resolution of testing issues, including governing formal working groups where required.
- Supporting the business to design testing requirements for Banking systems, ensuring compliance with Suncorp Policies, Frameworks and Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Acting as the conduit between T&T and Banking teams for the exchange of testing requirements and communication of testing issues.
- Providing inputs into reports to management committees on Banking Testing programs of work.
- Acting as the conduit for implementing SML Testing Policies, Frameworks and Standards within Banking teams.
- Support the Bank Testing Leader to schedule and prioritise work and activities to meet target schedule, quality and scope of Banking initiatives.
- Identifying automated solutions where possible to reduce cost to Banking teams and ensure an improved customer experience.
- Complete ad-hoc work as required to support the delivery of Banking strategic objectives.

**What you’ll bring**:

- 2+ years’ experience in banking or financial services with a strong focus Systems, Testing and/or Governance - Desired
- Superior stakeholder skills, including co-ordination of key programs of work or projects - Desired
- Intermediate understanding of Suncorp Policies, Frameworks and Standards
- Experience with using test management tools (e.g. JIRA) - Desired
- Experience with different development methodologies (e.g. Agile, V-Model, Waterfall) - Desired
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - Desired
- Experience with defect logging and resolution - Desired
- Sound understanding of regulation and legislation related to an ADI and RSE
