**We’re a leading Contract Manufacturer based in Smithfield NSW specialising in personal care products in a friendly and flexible manufacturing environment.**

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Line Setter** to join our dynamic production team. The Line Setter plays a crucial role in ensuring our production lines run smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical orientation, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality.

**Key responsibilities**
- Set up, adjust, and provide basic maintenance of production line machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets and quality standards.
- Support production lines with bulk and packaging movements using a forklift.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain continuous production flow.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment settings, adjustments, and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in the training and development of new team members.

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Previous experience as a line setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Technical or vocational training in a related field preferred but not essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise and sequence work to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Forklift licence - preferred
- Previous experience with bottle labelling an advantage
