Architectural Draftsperson

**Position Overview**: As an Architectural Draftsperson at Planning and Design, you will play a crucial role in bringing our architectural visions to life. You will work closely with our architects and design teams to create detailed and accurate architectural drawings and documentation. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for design and a strong technical skill set.

**Annual Salary**:$74,000.00 + super

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with architects and design teams to develop and refine design concepts.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain organized and accurate project files and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, external consultants, local council, builder/developers.
- Respond to RFIs from council, building surveyors, and consultants.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Architectural Building Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential architectural drafting.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $74,000.00 per year
