**How will I help?**

As the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead, you will play a key role in keeping Westpac’s people safe, by leveraging deep HSW expertise, strategic thinking and strong implementation capabilities.

You will perform a key business partnering role to develop and assist in the execution of the health, safety & wellbeing (HS&W) strategy, plans and initiatives within Employee Care function. This role is supporting the development and execution of divisional and Group safety and wellbeing plans.

Your role will include:

- Lead the implementation of targeted safety and wellbeing initiatives across Westpac Group
- Developing targeted solutions for the business units to improve safety and wellbeing performance based on key performance indicators.
- Support the development of the Employee Care Plan and translate / tailor Group-wide initiatives to support specific business units’ risks.
- Lead the implementation of multiple concurrent safety and wellbeing projects across their entire life cycle
- Input and support key Group safety and wellbeing responses, including developing targeted interventions to respond to emerging risks especially in mental health and wellbeing
- Develop strong relationships at a General Manager level and across the division and with relevant business unit leaders

**What do I need?**

You will bring:

- 5 years + experience in related disciplines of safety, wellbeing, organisational psychology, HR or project management
- Confident, engaging approach and a natural ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at General Manager Level
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of timely and business focused solutions
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Diverse experience and ability to operate in a large, complex, multi-site environment
- Knowledge of HS&W principles including psychosocial risk factors
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet all deadlines
- Resilience and the ability to work in a complex and changing environment
- Experience in leading projects
