**About the role**

An opportunity exists for a Cleaner (Environmental Services Worker) to join our team at Moonah Park Aged Care Service. You will be a hands-on individual who will join our supportive, caring and experienced team.

In this role you will:

- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities' residential areas.

We are currently looking for someone passionate about cleaning, however, depending on the service's requirements, your day may also include kitchen tasks like:

- Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas;
- Handle laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing;
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices according to legislation.

Remuneration for this role is $22.94 - $24.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

**About you**

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and can also work autonomously. You will be passionate about cleaning and committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. Working in a fast-pace environment you will have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally you will have:

- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations - desirable but not essential;
- Experience working within the Aged Care industry is desirable but not essential as we will provide you with training to succeed in this role;
- Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning is desirable;
- Current National Police Certificate.
