**The Role**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG). The role incorporates providing a high quality clinical care to obstetric and gynaecology patients, promoting patient quality and safety, providing leadership, supervision, training for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other consultants and the Heads of Units.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA), in the relevant specialty with no conditions, undertakings or reprimands.
- Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or an equivalent higher specialist qualification
- Recognised qualifications the Certificate of Obstetrics and Gynaecological with demonstrated experience in managing high risk pregnancies and gynaecology services to Northern Health patients
- Current National Police and Working with Children History Check.
- The Staff Immunisation Questionnaire must be completed by all new employees as part of the mandatory on-boarding process. New employees are not permitted to undertake any activity that requires patient contact prior to clearance by the Staff Immunisation Nurses; this also includes evidence of having the Flu vaccination on a yearly basis and being fully vaccinated against Covid-19. New employees with contra-indications to vaccinations or who decline vaccination are required to attend a face to face consultation with the Immunisation Nurses for appropriate documentation of their contraindications or declination. This must be completed PRIOR to commencing any work with Northern Health.
