**Position: Nominated Supervisor**

**About the role**

As a Nominated Supervisor and an advocate for Montessori Education, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the centre. This includes:

- develop and maintain meaningful relationships and partnerships with children, families and team members
- being a strategic thinker who can support and communicate in partnership with all stakeholders the vision of the SHCM
- being knowledgeable and experienced implementing best practices in Montessori and an awareness of contemporary education
- recruiting, rostering and establishing a supportive environment to inspire, mentor and lead your team
- create strong alliances and relationships with the community and surrounding networks
- manage enrolments and tours
- working in classrooms across all age groups as required to build relationships with the children and support educators
- understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including, NQS, EYLF and QKLG and the Montessori philosophy
- driven to provide exceptional quality while delivering financial results
- engaging in administrative responsibilities as well as payroll, supply inventory of resources and equipment
- coordinate and maintain the centre’s information and ensure that record systems are up to date
- ensure that service presentation is maintained to the highest standard.

**Qualifications and experience**
- A degree in Education
- Recognised Montessori qualifications
- Experience within the Early Childhood sector
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Working with Children Check
- A strong inclusive team member
- Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Articulate well verbally and in writing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- The Gap, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Early childhood education: 5 years (required)

- Australia (required)
