**About the Role**:
As the Safety Advisor on the iconic Waterfront project, you will provide support, coordination and advice of HSE practices, systems and procedures.

**Responsibilities of the role include;**:

- Ensure the safety of any subordinates and ensure their compliance with establishing safety policies, procedures and practices
- Analyse safety problems and recommend solutions to the HSEQ Manager
- Conduct routine and regular HSE inspections, monitoring and analysis of work areas
- Conduct investigations of site accidents and incidents that may require litigation
- Create, evaluate and administer safety programs for all employees

**What we are looking for;**:

- Diploma Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- Cert IV in Environmental Management
- Prior experience in a Safety Advisor role within the Construction industry
- Experience in supporting stakeholder groups and teams within area of responsibility such communicating with frontline employees and first line managers
- Ability to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation
- Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and development skills as well as monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects
