**About the role**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Proactively demonstrates Newmont’s core values in all aspects of work.
- Actively support Newmont’s safety standards and improvement initiatives
- Supports compliance with all statutory, Newmont and Boddington standards and procedures, through the development of technical contend required for the delivery of AM processes and systems.
- Ensure all technical documents are developed using established systems and solutions, and in accordance with set standards for style, terminology and content.
- Resolve the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
- Review and/or copyedit technical content developed by other members of the AM team.
- Reviews published technical documents and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format and content.
- Collaborate with the AM Global Systems team to set up, administrate and maintain relevant software and solutions.
- Coordinate and supervise external resources as the need arises to support development of technical documents and strategies.
- Interprets, extracts and analyse information from all types of technical drawings such as P&IDs, PFDs, Electrical and Mechanical Diagrams, Vendor Drawings/Schematics to develop technical documents.

**Your skills checklist**
- Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of maintenance principles and industry standards, work management process, planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Prior experience within heavy industry, ideally within asset management.
- Validated experience with a similar technical writing position.
- Experience in SAP PM module.
- Ability to follow and maintain processes with strong attention to detail, and able to effectively prioritise work.
- Advanced analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate across all mediums.
