**UGL Unipart**) was founded in December 2011 as a Joint Venture between UGL (Australia) and Unipart Rail (UK). UGL Unipart operates a Rail Maintenance Facility at Auburn where it maintains rolling stock for Sydney Trains, Transport for New South Wales and other rail operators.

**About the role**
- UGL’s Manufacturing & Maintenance business based at our operational centre located in Auburn, NSW is looking for Electrical Fitter to join the component overhaul team.
- These roles will be offered on a permanent full-time basis and will be paid under UGL Unipart’s Enterprise Agreement with working hours being Monday to Friday day shift with start and finish times varying depending on the team you are allocated to. You will work a 40-hour working week inclusive of accruing hours for a rostered day off once every calendar month.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you working on a rail set overhaul within various shops such as Component Change Out (CCO), Jacking Road, Presentation, and XPT conducting components replacements, repairs on bogies, wheelsets, gearboxes, brakes, pantographs, auto-couplers, and many more varieties of train components.

**About You**
- Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency - Electrical Trade
- Committed to safe work practices and a safe work environment
- Ability to undertake mechanical fitting and repair work
- Previous experience in rolling stock and component maintenance advantageous
- Experience with precision measurement instruments
- Ability to fault-find
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering instructions
- Ability to fill out records sheets and job cards accurately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable & punctual
- Team player
- Ability to follow reasonable directions from line managers
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Focused on the excellent quality of work with being able to complete tasks within the fixed price hours
- Forklift license is desirable
- Experience in operating overhead cranes advantageous
