Our client, a 70-place ELC, offers a fresh approach to early learning, drawing on the natural environment to inspire children to become discoverers, learners, and thinkers. Educators make sustainable practices a daily routine - from growing vegetables in-house to recycling materials for arts and crafts sessions.

This role will work with the team in the nursery of eleven babies and is supported by experienced educators who are familiar with the routines. The position comes with a high degree of support from other lead educators and management.

**About you**:

- A completed Diploma in Child Services (or higher). If you hold a Cert III and are committed to studying for your Diploma, we could consider this.
- Have lead educator experience or, at the minimum, substantial experience working as an educator in the nursery in a similar setting.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of contemporary child-safe practices and sound knowledge of the mandatory reporter requirements and child-safe standards.
- Ability to document, develop, plan, and implement learning experiences that are delivered in an age-appropriate, safe, challenging, and stimulating way for children.
- Contribute to program reflections and program developments as part of the team environment.
