Transport Allocator

**The role**

If you have a passion for customer service and logistics and a talent for problem solving and prioritising workload, then this is the opportunity for you We currently have an opportunity for an experienced customer service or logistics professional to join our supportive team and be responsible for company & sub-contractor raw material allocation.

Based at our office in Silverwater, and working Monday to Saturday each week, you will play a critical role in our business by scheduling our bulk materials fleet, ensuring supply matches demand by maximising fleet efficiency and utilisation. In this role, you will liaise with materials suppliers and provide excellent customer service, internally to our plants and externally to our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Use software packages to allocate bulk and raw materials
- Liaise with internal and external customers
- Ensure Chain of Responsibility and other national heavy vehicles requirements are always adhered to

**What you will need to succeed**
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of constant change
- Great organizational and problem solving skills
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a customer service/planning/scheduling function desired
- Computer literate with previous experience in Command desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse people
- Understanding of national heavy vehicle law requirements essential
