Fluevogologist Part-time

The carrier pigeons are off and the news is out - we are looking for Part-Time Fluevogologists at our shiny relocated Melbourne store If you feel the call to serve by providing a helpful and friendly Fluevog experience to the good people of your city, we want to hear from you

We’re searching the globe (or Melbourne) for a hard working, independently motivated and retail-experienced professional with particular interest in shoes.

Bonus points if you also happen to be friendly, stylish, charming, and (of course) a little bit weird. That sounds just like you, right? Yeah, we thought so.

**_ We are currently looking for someone Part-Time, between 10 to 25 hours per week._**

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**: Assists customers with purchases, answering questions, and helping to find solutions to any issues customers may have

**Sales**: Sales focused, driving personal sales and involves others in group sales, balancing leading and allowing others to lead

**Product**: Demonstrates product knowledge and confidence, makes suggestions, shares shoe care knowledge

**Merchandising**: Assists with merchandising, making sure the shoes are presented well and displays are tidy

**Payment Processing**: Collects customer payments and personal information at the POS. Participates in the web order process, including offering accurate sizing advice where needed, processing and packaging all web orders properly.

POS and other policies & procedures consistently and efficiently met (e.g. returns, receiving, warranty reports, paperwork, etc.)

Arrives punctually to work on a daily basis and is able to pitch in when needed

Actively participates in housekeeping, banking, shoe repair, etc.

Reads the company newsletter (the VogBlog) each day at work, participates in communication logs, relays messages, etc.

Manages time well between selling and day to day tasks and store operations, and actively attends to and addresses store needs

Is accurate, thorough, takes initiative and asks questions

Efficiently follows through on to do lists, in-store tasks and manager’s requests

Works collaboratively to reach store goals and objectives and maintains positive relationships with fellow Fluevogologists

Shares opinions and ideas openly, supports HQ Fluevog decisions and is interested in strengthening the company

Consistently shares constructive feedback and ideas with manager and other staff members
