About the Role

Team Global Express is currently seeking an experienced Dockhand/Driver (MR License / LF Forklift License preferred but not mandatory), to commence immediately at our Launceston location. This is a Full Time AM Permanent Position with the opportunity to jump on board with our dedicated Western Junction depot to service our major clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- AM Working Hours Monday - Friday, 02:00am - 10:00am (Full Time), which may vary according to our business needs.
- Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
- Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.
- Loading and unload general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner.
- Be able to handle freight items manually and safely as required.
- Be able to use technology to an efficient standard and be able to operate inhouse scanner devices.
- Ensure that any Dangerous Goods to be loaded are segregated and restrained accordingly.
- Accurately sort and load freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles with a high degree of accuracy.

Skills & Experience
- Preferred previous experience in a similar role.
- Preferred good Microsoft office skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have a full driver’s license.
