**Apprentice Cabinetmaker**

Cabinet making is the craft of designing, building, and installing custom furniture and cabinetry, combining artistry and technical skill. It involves working closely with clients to create tailored pieces that fit specific spaces, using a variety of materials such as solid wood, plywood, and laminate. Skilled cabinet makers employ various construction techniques, including joinery and veneering, to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. The process includes the use of both hand and power tools for shaping and assembly, followed by finishing techniques like staining or painting to enhance the final look. Ultimately, cabinet making results in functional and beautiful pieces for kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and commercial environments.

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as Cabinet Maker Apprentices. This hands-on role will provide you with valuable training and skills in woodworking, design, and construction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the fabrication and installation of custom cabinets and furniture.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Use woodworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Support experienced cabinet makers in all stages of production.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

**Our Requirements**:

- Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A current Drivers’ Licence, and have your own reliable transport
- A White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP

Pay: $560.00 - $980.00 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster

- Driver Licence (preferred)
