**About the Role**
This is an exciting time to join Ingenia’s IT Team. We are insourcing our service delivery team and this is an amazing opportunity to join a team of dedicated, customer focused IT professionals who are about to build the standard of IT support across the business. Initially, this will be a team of 4 people located across the Sydney and Brisbane corporate offices with plans to grow and expand the capacity and capability of the team.
We are looking for Level 2 IT Support Technicians who can support internal customers, troubleshoot issues and work with external vendors. It will be hands-on with an expectation that everyone is prepared to work across a broad range of tickets and issues (this might mean working on some Level 1 issues and you’ll need to be comfortable working across both skill sets).
This is an opportunity ideal for someone with broad experience in technical IT support, who understands windows environments, networking and user desktop environments. You will ideally need exposure to IT roll outs and the ability to assist with field-based work during projects to provide hands on technical support (likely to be once every 2 months for up to 5 days at a time).
**Key Accountabilities**
- Manage L1/L2 inbound support calls, identify & qualify customer issues.
- Undertake troubleshooting and rectification of customer issues based on service levels.
- Undertake event log monitoring, alert handling and reporting.
- Utilise internal systems to support, monitor and maintain all Ingenia IT systems such as updates, patching, anti-virus/ anti-spam, back up & disaster recovery.
- Undertake Server/PC audits & manage IT inventory.
**About You**
- Exposure to IT roll outs and the ability to travel onsite during those projects to provide hands on technical support.
- Experience with managing windows-based PC environment and associated support capability
- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Cloud Technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Good knowledge and experience of all network aspects (WAN, Internet, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with vendor management together with working with a small internal IT team
- Hands on experience of supporting an organisation size of 600+ users (in person and remote)
- Customer service and excellent communication skills
- Experience in ITIL and other best practice IT management methodologies
- Broad experience in supporting windows-based environment.
- Great customer service attitude.
- Ability to manage internal stakeholders and external vendors on project-based migration work.
- A Valid Driver's license with the ability to travel (possible overnight stays)
