**About this Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity exists within Lactalis for an experienced **Quality Manager - Customer Liaison **based in Scoresby (VIC) or South Brisbane. This role represents a real opportunity to make a difference through taking ownership of delivering a high and consistent level of food safety and quality service & support to our customers. This role holds accountability for developing an understand of our main customers’ requirements and expectations (including Lactalis International requirements). We are looking for an customer centric and pragmatic individual who will make the role their own and role model best practice and behaviours when it comes to delivering safety standards. A strong knowledge of customer and certification standards are preferable including CFMSR, WSEP, BRC, HACCP, McDonalds and ALDI.

**Key responsibilities of the role;**
- Build and maintain positive relationships with your key customers through an understanding of their requirements
- Ensure customers’ food safety and quality platforms are accurate and up to date
- Specifications
- Exemptions
- Approvals
- Be the main point of contact for customer queries, source information/answers and coordinate timely responses back.
- Coordinate the mock recall schedule with divisional quality managers (including afterhours requirement), ensure compliance and complete necessary evidentiary documentation
- Coordinate customers’ meeting presentation - follow up content with relevant internal stakeholders prior to meeting, prepare presentation and deliver content.

**About you**:
We need a proactive person who is willing and able to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. To ensure success in the role, the successful applicant requires the below toolkit:

- Tertiary qualification in Quality or Environmental Science and at least 5 years relevant Quality management work experience in in a similar size company
- Lead Food Safety Auditor qualification desirable
- Knowledge of customer and certification standards preferable including CFMSR, WSEP, BRC, HACCP, McDonalds, ALDI etc
- Ability to effectively engage with customers and leadership
- Strong systems knowledge, particularly Excel & SAP
- Proactive nature with a passion for driving continuous improvement
- Auditing Experience
- Strong Analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
