Telecommunications Linesworker

Working with telecommunications civils and hauling teams.
- Coordinating with team leaders and implementing designs, as per the Telecommunications Standards provided.
- Examine drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for infrastructure to be installed.
- Locate underground services and install pit and pipe around existing underground services (gas, water, power, etc.).
- Complete and manage site as-builts and coordinate with team leaders, as required.
- Assist in responding to emergency work to meet WHS requirements, that arises during, and after hours, where required.
- Work in teams on Telstra/NBN pit & pipe and manholes jobs.
- Work in a team environment and pro-actively organise work.

Main Tasks:

- Organize and execute jobs as per the NBN & Telstra schedules & standards.
- Complete and manage site as-builts and photos.
- Ensure that the work completed is as per the general industry and client’s standards.
- Follow all HSE guidelines, standards and SWMS.
- Coordinate with team leaders.
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar field/role.
- Work effectively in a team environment.

**Salary**: $49,000.00 to $54,000.00 /year

Qualification:
Diploma/certificate in Telecommunications Pit & Pipe/Plumbing

**Experience**:
Pipe fitting in telecommunications/plumbing infrastructure: 2 years

Licence:
Valid Driver's License
