We are currently looking for a** Material Planner in Dandenong, VIC**. This is a fulltime, permanent position, to be based in our Dandenong Site and is a fantastic opportunity who is looking to take their career to the next step

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Purchase request to purchase analysis in order to ensure they are processable in line with planning needs
- Purchase order processing and managing Suppliers' deliveries according to Production / Operations / Installation / Repairs requirements, from Purchase Order placement to confirmation by suppliers and archive
- Deliveries follow up and expediting
- Manage repair loop through regular backlog review and internal / external suppliers follow-up
- Sharing information on deliveries to key stakeholders at site level (Planning, Sourcing,...) in order to detect potential missing parts and manage crisis in case of delivery issues.
- Ensuring highest level of parts availability
- Reporting operational KPI (Missing parts, On Time Delivery, etc.)
- Contributing to continuous improvement process
- Suppliers management: Capacity check, site visit, improvement plan follow up
- Manage material availability, missing parts, overstock
- Manage specific conditions for vendors
- Manage purchasing document for stock items
- Maintain ERP system with all relevant information
- Supplier deliveries performances

**Key Requirements**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain
- Supply Chain certification is desirable
- Experience with ERPs (SAP is preferred), Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement
- Rolling Stock background experience is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a similar position is required.
