**Responsibilities**:
Greeting customers with a warm and friendly demeanour, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.Assisting customers in selecting products and services that best suit their needs, providing expert advice and guidance.Update construction materials and other product knowledge and pricing information to ensure accurate and helpful recommendations to customers.Prepare and follow up sales quotations for customers.Maintaining accurate records and efficiently processing customer transactions to ensure a seamless shopping experience.Resolving any customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring their concerns are addressed and resolved to their satisfaction.Providing support to staff in the warehouse as required in times of high demand to ensure customer service commitments are achieved.

How to be successful in this role?Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, demonstrating your ability to connect with customers and drive sales.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with customers.Strong organisational, time management and ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work both independently, and collaboratively as well as contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.Experience in building materials or construction would be highly desired.
