**The Opportunity**

**Aveo Springfield Retirement Village** is a modern, luxury and close-knit retirement living community located in Springfield Central and we are growing our maintenance team Working alongside the Facilities Supervisor, you will spend your day attending to day-to-day maintenance, repair or general 'upkeep' tasks around our friendly village. If you're someone who enjoys connecting with people, considers yourself handy and enjoys being on your feet - you will love this opportunity

**This new opportunity is a permanent full-time position working Monday-Friday 7-3pm (or 8-4pm).**

**You will**
- You will attend to various maintenance requests to create pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others (e.g painting, light plumbing or hanging pictures etc)
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community (e.g alarm testing etc)
- Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team
- Assist with any other tasks around the village to ensure resident satisfaction
- Please note - this is not a gardening role. We've got that covered

**What you will bring**
- Experience and/or skilled in domestic repair tasks such as painting, plastering and light plumbing tasks (highly desired)
- A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
- Valid driver's licence (required)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
- Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
