Assistant Store Manager needed for leading luxury retailer for their Chadstone boutique.

An exciting opportunity with a leading luxury retail brand who are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for their Chadstone boutique. They have a rich history and are a pioneer in the luxury retail industry, setting the standard for quality and craftsmanship.

As their ASM, you will play a crucial role in upholding their legacy of exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable shopping experiences.

**Your new role**
- Roster management
- Ensuring staff follow company policies, procedures, and work practices at all times
- Monitoring and observing staff transactional & operational skills and provide timely feedback and training where necessary
- Discussing and providing motivation for individual and store budgets with team members
- Escalating performance issues or staff grievances to the Store Manager, NRM or HR
- Daily awareness of individual and store budgets
- Provide personalised customer service ensuring professional, courteous, exceptional service in line with company policies & procedures
- Recommend, select & locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires
- Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, ensuring correct prices on display stock are displayed & make prompt & accurate price changes for alterations & promotions
- Place special orders and assist with omni-channel sales or transfers as required
- Maintain clean shelves, counters, glass/mirrors always
- Assist with the receipt and collection of repairs and faulty items
- Actively seek additional opportunities to increase sales
- Ensure customers’ details are accurately recorded in Customer database (CRM) for all customer receipts
- Actively providing positive support, coaching and direction to team members in order to meet and/or exceed budgets, objectives and KPIs
- Effectively rostering staff to ensure appropriate skills sets to support the store operating hours, budgets and KPIs
- Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as directed by Store Manager or company management

**What you'll need to succeed**

Previous Assistant Store management and/or leadership experience in a customer-oriented retail environment. Senior Client Advisors with management experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Coaching and training experience
- Problem solving skills & ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously
- Some exposure to rostering, completing & submitting reports & time sheets
- Sound knowledge of work practices and procedures within a retail environment
