About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we’ve supported the backbone of Australia’s health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.
We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.
About you
As our Regional Quality Officer, you’ll develop and manage tools to monitor quality and compliance for our GP Training team members across regional and local program delivery. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
at least three years quality assurance and delivery experience
demonstrable experience with developing a quality assurance program
an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
About the opportunity
Reporting to the National Training Quality Lead, you’ll support the delivery and management of an internal quality management framework and system. By providing regular quality reviews and quality assurance, you’ll ensure program compliance and that the RACGP continuously meets or exceeds on accreditation requirements. In addition, you’ll:
supporting the implementation and maintenance of the education and training quality framework, system, and associated activities e.g., audits, benchmarking, and stakeholder feedback.
conducting regular process audits and act on areas of non-compliance, or where improvements are identified to ensure there is an effective and continuous review and improvement process across the organisation.
ensuring that the overall performance and quality of the program delivery is meeting expectations and is continually monitored for improvement.
providing support, coaching and feedback for GP Training team members in the interest of ongoing development.
